We provide a sexual health screen for patients who may be concerned. This can include testing for Chlamydia , Gonnorrhoea, Syphyllis, HIV and Hepatitis among others. For men usually a urine , blood test and examination will suffice depending on symptoms. For women a swab may also be required in addition to these.

For added accuracy it is advised not to pass a urine sample for 2 hours prior to attending for your appointment, where a sample will then be required.

It is always requested that a patient has a follow-up visit with the Dr. to discuss his/her results, due to the sensitivity of these investigations i.e it does not mean there is anything wrong with your results just because you are requested to attend! There is no charge for this follow-up visit.
