Ellen graduated from TCD initially as a physiotherapist and then as a doctor. She completed the TCD/HSE GP Training Scheme in 2009 and has worked as a GP since. She has postgraduate qualifications in Dermatology, Women's Health, Medicine for the Elderly, Palliative Care and medical education.
